Q: Hi, Holly! Tell us a bit about yourself! How old are you and your partner, and what do you both work as?
A: We are from the UK, a same-sex couple, 30 and 32. We both work in retail!
Q: You mentioned your fertility condition (cervix is slightly to the side). Would you be comfortable sharing how you discovered this condition and how it made TTC more challenging?
A: We initially went for fertility treatment, and they did mention my cervix is slightly to the side. I would never have known this. Also, our midwife friend helped us with the feeling and finding of the cervix. (It feels like the end of your nose, apparently). It’s a prevalent thing, but not many people know theirs is to one side unless they are feeling it themselves or someone else is feeling it. This can make conception difficult if you don’t know.
Q: What else have you tried in your TTC journey before using twoplus Fertility? How often did you use the Applicator before you got pregnant?
A: We tried an alternative product two cycles before, but it didn’t feel comfortable. Using the speculum with it was also complicated, making it slightly stressful and unpleasant. We also found their syringe was huge, meaning the sperm got slightly lost! We only had to use the twoplus Applicator for one cycle. We inserted the sperm for three days. (2 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the day after).

A: I did some research and came across your product. It looked different from the other applicators we had tried (very smooth). It also looked so easy to use, which was really important for us as we previously struggled with other products! After reading about it, the science and concept made perfect sense. A: I found you on Google trying to research the best ways to get pregnant!
Q: What motivated you and your partner to use this self-insemination sperm syringe consistently?
A: After having fertility treatment at a fertility specialist, we found the clinical environment was quite stressful. It wasn’t natural and wasn’t enjoyable. My partner had to sit a meter away from me when I was inseminated, and that’s not how we wanted to make our baby.
Q: Was the Applicator easy to use? Was it uncomfortable after inserting, and did you have any trouble using the fertility tool?
A: The tool was so easy to use. We had so much fun doing it, too! And although we are two women, we still managed to have a baby!! I stayed with my legs in the air for 30 minutes after and with my underwear pulled up to avoid any air getting in and any leakage. It didn’t cause any discomfort.
Q: Did you adopt any lifestyle changes to improve your odds of conceiving?
A: Yes, I changed my diet. I took Macaroot and Chasterberry supplements along with lots of leafy green vegetables. I also cut out ALL caffeine!

A: 1000000% - we are still in shock (even after our baby has arrived) that it worked. It just shows that with the right tools, anything is possible!
