Daniel Shares How The Sperm Guide Helped His Parenthood Journey.
Q: Hi, Daniel! Tell us a bit about yourself! How old are you and your partner, and what are your ethnicities? What do you both work as?
We are Daniel and Inah and have been married for about 3 years now. We met in residential college while pursing our studies at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and the rest is history! I am a 31 year old Chinese Singaporean male and Inah is 29 this year and she comes from the Philippines and is also a Singaporean Permanent Resident. I work as a Senior Physiotherapist in a private clinic while Inah is a Finance Executive.
Q: Congratulations on your pregnancy! Can you share a bit about your journey to parenthood?
We always knew that we wanted to have children together. Our experiences growing up and our faith as Catholics really helped shaped our perspectives of family and starting a family of our own. We took a couple of years after getting married to enjoy each other’s company, especially since we had a 3 year long distance phase to our relationship. The later half of 2022 was when we decided that we were ready to actively try for children.
Q: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced while trying for a baby?
We utilised the Natural Family Planning to track our fertile periods. However life did present challenges in the form of stress be it from work or other factors, sometimes we would be unwell at times during the fertile periods, and we missed a couple of months in between. It was a good 1 year of trying before we felt that we should visit the doctor to see what else could be preventing us from conceiving.
Q: Were you diagnosed with any medical conditions relating to fertility by a licensed healthcare professional, and what tests did you do?
Both Inah and I had blood tests done. Individually, she had an ultrasound scan while I had a semen analysis test. Based on all the scans and tests, we discovered that I had a lower sperm count and concentration. We discussed our options with the doctor and I was prescribed with vitamins that assist men to try and increase sperm count and concentration. Inah also continued her usual folic acid supplements.
Q: How did you first find out about twoplus Sperm Guide, and what made it stand out as a solution for you / made you decide to try it?
I started getting some ads on social media when we were trying to conceive without success. After our unsuccessful attempts, and feeling like we would try anything, we decided to give the twoplus Sperm Guide a go.
Q: Could you describe your experience with the twoplus Sperm Guide?
To be honest it was a little intimidating at the beginning! However the information leaflets and what we found on the twoplus fertility website was very helpful and clear. It was quite comfortable for Inah during the insertion, and neither of us felt any discomfort while using it. It came together with the recommended lubricant which really helped when inserting the Sperm Guide, as well as making intercourse more comfortable. I had some initial doubts about how effective it would be, but safe to say it works exactly how it was advertised. There was no mess and no leaks!
Q: How often within each cycle did you find yourself using the Sperm Guide?
We used it a total of 4 times during the ovulation window.
Q: Apart from using the twoplus Sperm Guide, did you make any lifestyle changes to improve your odds of conceiving?
Apart from the fertility vitamins, we also tried to engage in regular exercise and looked more closely into our diet, ensuring that we were eating as healthily as possible. Additionally, we also started tracking Inah’s LH surges together with Natural Family Planning to make sure we tried to hit the ovulation window as best as we could.

Q: What else have you tried in your conception journey before using twoplus?
We did not try much else before using twoplus apart from trying to track our ovulation window.
Q: Would you recommend the twoplus Sperm Guide to couples who are trying to conceive? Why or why not?
We would highly recommend the twoplus Sperm Guide for couples trying to conceive and where the male partner as a lower sperm count and concentration. However it may have limitations if the issue is because of other medical conditions. In which case it might be a good idea for a couple to visit the doctor for a check-up.
Q: What would you say to someone considering the use of twoplus Sperm Guide in their fertility journey?
It looks more intimidating as it might seem. So don’t be afraid and just dive in!
Q: If you could go back to the beginning of your conception journey, what would you have done differently?
We would have probably tried tracking the LH surges sooner, and we would have likely gone for a check-up prior to trying to conceive.
Q: Exciting times are ahead for you and your wife! How does it feel? How are you guys preparing?
We both feel a mix of excitement and joy, as well as anxiety and uncertainty! We are thankful for the support we have from family and friends. We continue to exercise as regular as we can (of course after seeking exercise recommendations from the doctor for Inah), and ensure our diet is as healthy and nutritious as possible. We are also looking out for good deals for baby related things, and reading up as much as possible as we prepare to become first time parents!
